Holiday Camps FAQ'sWhat to Bring:Packed lunch, snacks, drinks (suitably non-fizzy). Children should always bring plenty to drink with them e.g. juice or water. What to wear: Clothing Children can wear any suitable sports clothing but please ensure that in colder weather they are wearing track suit bottoms and sweatshirts over their kit to keep them warm. In hot weather please ensure that your child brings a hat or cap and is covered with a generous layer of suncream. Items of clothing should be name-tagged where possible. Footwear For health and safety reasons all children should be wearing shin pads during the classes. If children do not possess football boots they can wear trainers. If you are buying boots, moulded soles are sufficient. Child Behaviour & Discipline: Behaviour We do not tolerate swearing or bad behaviour from any of the children and we reserve the right to remove any child from the course, without refund of fees, for these reasons. This will be via telephone or post. If the camp is filled before the three day deadline then you will be contacted sooner.
Staff will direct you to the main hall or sports hall where you will be greeted by the head coach, then all the children will be signed in.
Children will take part in a wide variety of fun skills coaching activities where they will develop their basic and intermediate skills including; Passing, moving, dribbling, shooting, defending, heading, control.
Sporting Dreams is a registered body of the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). All staff members are policed checked and accredited with a CRB enhanced disclosure certificate. Even though all staff are first aid and emergency aid trained, each staff member goes through a vigorous internal training program in looking after the health and safety all children. Staff hold the FA Coaching Certificate Level 2 (uefa b), many of our staff also hold the Level 3 Certificate.
Contact head office (01455-446-445) and leave a message with your child’s name and what course they were attending. Please note that no-one will be in the office on a coaching day until 5pm.
All venues have inside facilities, so come rain or shine the show will go on.
